Who We Are

Mission/Vision

At Christian Life Church, our mission and vision are more than just statements that “look good” or allow us to check off a box on a corporate church growth policy. They truly express what we are trying to achieve and what we want to become. From our educational programs to our dynamic worship services, all are designed to bring us closer to fulfilling our mission and achieving every element of our vision.

Mission: Our mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ.
Vision: Our vision is to be an apostolic church in principle, practice, and power.

Who We Are

We are a community church with a world vision whose purpose is to stand for Biblical truth; not forsaking the ancient landmarks of our fathers but expanding our boundaries to reach beyond traditional pentecostalism with a message, a vision and a burden for loving the lost, helping the hurting, ministering to the misfits, endeavoring and enduring that same message of love, mercy and forgiveness to a lonely world – - not with an exclusive but an inclusive gospel of whosoever will, let him come. Come without being criticized or condemned but called to a higher purpose and a sacred commitment to our savior Jesus Christ.

What We Believe

Christian Life Church is a church striving to become a 21st Century Apostolic Church. We are founded upon the belief that the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God.

We believe in the great commission and are endeavoring to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with love, mercy and compassion.

We believe there is only one God (Deuteronomy 6:4 ). He is the creator of heaven and earth, and of all living beings. He has revealed Himself to humanity as the Father (Creator), as the Son (Savior), and as the Holy Ghost (indwelling Spirit).

We believe in water baptism by immersion in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sin. Through baptism we identify with the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. (Romans 6:3-6; Colossians 2:11-14; Acts 2:38)

We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the initial sign of speaking in other tongues. (Acts 2:4)

We believe in the manifestation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. God ministers to His people through tongues, interpretation of tongues, prophecy; words of knowledge and wisdom, discerning of spirits, faith, working of miracles, healing, helps and government. (Mark 16:15-18; Acts 5:16; 2 Corinthians 12:1-11)

We are a Bible-based church. We're Bible-based in that we seek to base all of our beliefs and our lifestyle on explicit passages of the Bible or on biblical principles. Based on Scripture, we believe the following...

ABOUT THE BIBLE

The Bible is the infallible Word of God and the authority for salvation and Christian living (2 Timothy 3:15-17).

ABOUT GOD

There is one God, who has revealed Himself as our Father, in His Son Jesus Christ, and as the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ is God manifested in flesh. He is both God and man (Deuteronomy 6:4Ephesians 4:4-6Colossians 2:91 Timothy 3:16).

ABOUT SIN AND SALVATION

Everyone has sinned and needs salvation. Salvation comes by grace through faith based on the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ (Romans 3:23-256:23Ephesians 2:8-9).

ABOUT THE GOSPEL

The saving gospel is the good news that Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and rose again. We obey the gospel (2 Thessalonians 1:81 Peter 4:17) by repentance (death to sin), water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ (burial), and receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit (resurrection) (1 Corinthians 15:1-4Acts 2:437-39Romans 6:3-4).

ABOUT CHRISTIAN LIVING

As Christians, we are to love God and others. We should live a holy life inwardly and outwardly, and worship God joyfully. The supernatural gifts of the Spirit, including healing, are for the church today (Mark 12:28-312 Corinthians 7:1Hebrews 12:141 Corinthians 12:8-10).

ABOUT THE FUTURE

Jesus Christ is coming again to catch away His church. In the end will be the final resurrection and the final judgment. The righteous will inherit eternal life, and the unrighteous eternal death (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17Revelation 20:11 15).

The Oldest Worship on Earth

If you have never had the opportunity to be in a Spirit-filled service before, you will discover that biblical expressions of worship are still practiced today. Join in with us as we praise God together in spirit and in truth.

WE PRAY TOGETHER OUT LOUD

because...In the Bible we read, "they lifted up their voices to God with one accord..." Acts 4:24

WE LIFT OUR HANDS IN PRAISE

because... In the Bible we read, "Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the Lord." Psalms 134:2

WE SING WITH ALL OUR HEARTS

because... In the Bible we read, "Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise."Psalm 98:4

WE PLAY MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS

because ... In the Bible we read, "...and all the house of Israel played before the Lord on all manner of instruments..." II Samuel 6:5

WE CLAP AND SHOUT UNTO GOD

because... In the Bible we read, "...o clap your hands all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph." Psalms 47:1

WE DANCE BEFORE THE LORD

because... In the Bible we read, "... Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs."Psalms 150:4

WE TESTIFY PUBLICLY

because... In the Bible we read, "I will declare thy name unto my brethren; in the midst of the congregation will I praise thee."Psalm 22:22

WE ANOINT WITH OIL FOR DIVINE HEALING

because... In the Bible we read, "Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the LORD."James 5:14

WE ALLOW THE OPERATION OF THE SPIRITUAL GIFTS

because... In the Bible we read, "... when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath revelation an interpretation,,,"."I Corinthians 14:26
